Inside The Box

Here we have a very well packaged laptop cooling pad with lots of information regarding the product all over the box.

The Avantek cooling tray has be packed in bubble wrap to give it that extra protection.

 Inside the box is also a manual and 2x rubber grips each has a very strong sticky back.

On opening the legs the legs to position 2 and 3 you can see they lock into place very securely giving a very comfortable position for any user. There are 3 usable positions on the CP-07

 Looking at the left hand side of the cooler you can see the two USB ports, also on and off wheel for the fan with speed control, and finally the on and off switch for the LED 

Setup is very simple just remove the cable provided from underneath the cooler.

Connect one side of the cable to the laptop using any USB 2.0 or USB 3.0. Any of these ports will work for this product.

Connect the other side of the cable to the Avantek laptop cooler (CP-07) and your good to go.

Switch on the LED and turn the fan to your desired level and that's it your done.

Once USB connection has been made and you switch on your laptop you can see that is a nice clear and bright blue LED. The fan has an adjustable speeds between 800 - 1350rpm with long service lifetime up to 20,000 hours .

 As we look at the underneath of the Aventec CP-07, you can see how tidy everything is. 

This with it's ultra slimline look it really dose makes this a good choice for both performance and potability.

Both my laptops sit very securely on this cooling tray very easily. 

I would also like to point out it's important to take a look at the bottom of your laptop just so you know where to put the grip-pads on the cooler.

Don't forget to do this part or when you tilt the unit you could end up with your laptop sliding off.

It is as with any product to read the user manual provided before use. It's the best way to avoid any accident's.

The Test

MSI GE70 2PL Running 6 hours of video play before laptop cooler installed temperature 32c

Acer Aspire 6930 Running 6 hours of video play before laptop cooler installed temperature 42c

After the 6 hour test on my MSI laptop GE70 2PL which is a 17.3 Inch laptop temps maintained at 29c during a 6 hour video loop.

After the 6 hour test on an Acer Aspire 6930 which is a 16 Inch laptop temperatures maintained at 36c 

The results show that both laptops had a drop in temperature  

My MSI Laptop had dropped by 3 degrees while the Acer Aspire 6930 had dropped by 6c definitely making it worthwhile for this one.
