Introducing The Kinivo 301BN

This 3 way box is very nicely made and labels are very clear. 

The Kinivo 301BN is a 3 way HDMI splitter box which will enable you to use upto 3 different HDMI products on one screen. Just plug in your HMDI connections into each port and select the input you desire using the switch button or the remote control provided,  It will show your selected device on your output screen. You must make sure your selected device is switched on or it will not pick up the signal you select.
Blue led's light up once your selected input  is selected, This really is Very simple and easy to connect, very nice looking unit without the bulkiness if your going to use it like a  kvm switch like me or a standard HDMI selector.

What you need to run as a KVM Switch

In order to use this as a KVM switch you will need a pc link cable for the usb keyboard and mouse to work or a program such as sharemouse or Synergy.This unit can be use by remote or switch both these options are available on the unit.

Both of these options will allow you to drag and drop files from one computer to another without the use of having to copy files to memory device.

Remember that this is for HDMI connectors and no other connectors are available on this unit. 

With it's Support of 3D and HD resolutions up to 1080p it can also auto switch on active input.

Please Note

Apple TV keeps its HDMI port active even in the sleep state. Hence, auto-switching may not work with the Apple TV. Manual switching can still be used in this scenario.
