ZEUS BLIZZARD 1.3-1.4MH/S SCRYPT ASIC MINER

ZEUS BLIZZARD 1.3-1.4MH/S SCRYPT ASIC MINER

Are you Scrypt Mining in your spare time using your gaming graphics cards?

Zeus Blizzard Miner runs between 1.3 -1.4Mh/s @ only 40w

This is the perfect way to get into mining without having to run your gaming graphics cards on full power costing more money on placements when damaged.

These pocket sized miners run between 1.3 -1.4Mhs at only 40w saving you greatly on power consumption when compared to mining on a graphics  card.

They run of a standard mico USB port and the power is a 12V 5A AC/DC adapter a bit like my laptop charger.

So what is scrypt mining

Scrypt mining is a form of mining for crypto currency. Bitcoin is the most popular one and it uses a SHA-256 algorithm, while some alternate crypto currencies use scrypt, like Litecoin or dodgecoin .

If you would like to find more info about scrypt mining then take a look at https://www.coinpursuit.com/pages/bitcoin-altcoin-SHA-256-scrypt-mining-algorithms/
I've been running two of these since they come out and I have to say I'm still impressed how they perform.
As you can see from the picture above they use the micro USB to link to your pc or raspberry.

For those of you just starting out mining then this will be ideal for you because it cuts out the energy cost and also the heat conditions with larger miners.

You will also need programs such as cgminer  https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/CGMiner  or  BFGMiner http://bfgminer.org/  These will give you all the files you need to get you up and running.

The software for these are always updating so keep checking for these updates.
With the Virtual currency growing fast more support becomes available.

The only thing you need to remember is that the difficulty will rise making the process of collecting your currency a little slower but I personally don't think that this is such a bad thing given the size and performance of this unit.

The specs for this Zeus Blizzard are

Introducing The Kinivo 301BN

This 3 way box is very nicely made and labels are very clear.

The Kinivo 301BN is a 3 way HDMI splitter box which will enable you to use upto 3 different HDMI products on one screen. Just plug in your HMDI connections into each port and select the input you desire using the switch button or the remote control provided,  It will show your selected device on your output screen. You must make sure your selected device is switched on or it will not pick up the signal you select.
Blue led's light up once your selected input  is selected, This really is Very simple and easy to connect, very nice looking unit without the bulkiness if your going to use it like a  kvm switch like me or a standard HDMI selector.

What you need to run as a KVM Switch

In order to use this as a KVM switch you will need a pc link cable for the usb keyboard and mouse to work or a program such as sharemouse or Synergy. This unit can be use by remote or switch both these options are available on the unit.

If your goning to use this as a KVM switch then why not check out these links for more details
For a PC link cable then checkout this example I've show here from maplin http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/maplin-usb-20-smart-keyboard-mouse-switch-pc-link-cable-n46lj

sharemouse is not free software but I use this and it works reasonably well for keyboard and mouse functions.  http://www.keyboard-and-mouse-sharing.com/

Or if you want something that runs on a IP address why not try  http://synergy-project.org/
Both of these options will allow you to drag and drop files from one computer to another without the use of having to copy files to memory device.

Remember that this is for HDMI connectors and no other connectors are available on this unit.
With it's Support of 3D and HD resolutions up to 1080p it can also auto switch on active input.
This really is a good device and at the moment they are selling around £15 each on Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/

Teck -Net

Teck-Net

Introducing the Power Bar by Teck Net

When your out and about and your phone battery goes flat,
Give it a jump start with the TeckNet iEP2200 Power Bank.
This TeckNet iEP2200 Power Bank comes in a pretty tough plastic case which is sealed.
It also has a scratch cover protector over the front of the device.
This is a small external USB charged power supply,
The design  of this product means it's small and light and will fit easily in your pocket or bag.
The TeckNet iEP2200 Power Bank has  been designed for it's simple use, And will work on almost any product while on the go, giving you that little extra power just when you need it.

The little square that  you can see on the front of the TeckNet iEP2200 Power Bank is the LED power display.
This display will show a red LED square when your charging the main unit ready for use, And a blue LED when the TeckNet iEP2200 Power Bank is fully charged.

The two ports shown here are the 5V 1A  and the 5V 800mA
The 5V 1A (micro USB port)  is used for charging the  TeckNet iEP2200 Power Bank,
And the 5V 800 mA (USB port) is for charging your device.
The lead this unit comes with is a (micro USB) but you can buy other types of this lead to suite your needs but most products that need USB power  already come with a standard USB and this will fit into this unit.

With this unit so far I have been able to use a Samsung S3 - S5 and a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2
The device is real easy to setup using any USB port from PC or laptop to charge the unit.

The only thing that most of these devices are short of are to tell you how much power is left. But don't let that put you off because I have tested this device on three other products one after each other and I have managed to get an extra 10% into each device.
From a unit as small as this I think thats great.

Here are the specs of this unit and why not checkout http://www.tecknetonline.co.uk/ for more details and other exciting products.
